Complexity 

I have been photographing India during numerous shorter and longer trips since 2016. Complexity is the only word I can think of that could even remotely begin to describe this immensely and relentlessly fascinating place.

Complexity is omnipresent in India. One can see it on every street and every village. It is visible in politics and in religion. In people and in the landscape. In culture and in history. In fashion and in cuisine.

This collection attempts at visualising this complexity in public spaces. The photographs have been taken New Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Mumbai.
